📰Yesterday P4P Vice-Chair Baroness Boycott wrote to @thetimes.com about her amendment requiring the Government to ensure that new and existing schools are adapted to climate risks like extreme heat and flooding.
The amendment will be debated in September where Govt will have to respond

🌊🪸🦈The Government reaffirmed their commitment to the current moratorium on deep sea bed mining at Lords Question Time today, with Peers raising the need for nations to work together on this, and to fully implement a circular economy to reduce the need for mining in the future.

In the first 4 months of this year, the UK had more 🔥#wildfires 🔥than in any of the previous 20 - outlined in the graph below which shows how important it is becoming to build resilience in this area.
