“They’re hiding behind a wall of innuendo” is the best summation of this administration I’ve heard yet.

Thank you @governorwalz.mn.gov
Is your Attorney General in this coalition yet? Call them!
The DOJ is exploiting the chaos they’ve created in Minnesota, asking Governor Walz to turn over sensitive resident data in exchange for the withdrawal of ICE agents.

Today, I’m joining a coalition of AGs to make it clear that we will continue to fight against this gross federal overreach.

Yes. Yes it is and the media needs to stop giving a benefit of the doubt about it.
It doesn’t “echo” white supremacist messaging. It is white supremacist messaging.

This two part series is so important to listen to
This week’s episode is the second and final part of our series about the Voting Rights Act. In this one, we plot the evolution of the conservative reaction, including the ascendance of anti-voting pervert John Roberts.

Alec Karakatsanis says both Fox News and even more "liberal" outlets like The New York Times have disseminated stories that create the illusion of a crime wave, when, in fact, U.S. crime is at a 20-year low.

I had the opportunity to see @atmospheresucks.bsky.social Winter Carnival tour this weekend. Solid line up! Here’s #RARuggedMan connecting dots. ICE is not new, just a new tactic.

Also, only show in Boston I’ve seen with break dancing and a mosh pit 🤘#musicsky #MNrap

What would the USA be like if the capital was relocated to a central location after expansion to the west was established instead of keeping it nestled among the original colonies?

An opposition party doesn’t denounce tyrannical, masked government agents for shooting Americans and disappearing people off the street while voting to give those agents more money.

The #fibershed movement keeps popping up in local news the last couple years and I am here for it! 🧶
When Keith Tetreault bought his farm 15 years ago, his business plan was to breed alpacas and maybe "sell a pair of socks now and then."

It didn't turn out to be so simple.
Not just socks: New England's wool industry is finding new ways to use fleece
From gardening to construction and insulation, New England producers of sheep and alpaca wool are looking beyond the clothing industry to make use of excess fleece.

I just finished this book I received for Christmas and it is an excellent adventure. Witty, creative, magical, excellent pacing. It sucked me right in. Highly recommend The Blacktongue Thief by Christopher Buehlman 📚

“We have about $2100 of urgent needs from a mom who needs to pay rent and someone trying to pay their lawyer, but nothing in their account right now.

Can we all come together to help meet these needs?”

If you are following the news coverage of ICE and have a funny feeling about it, read my book Copaganda. It will change things for you. All royalties are donated to charity that fights surveillance and state violence, and we have free copies for anyone in prison and any students who can't afford it.

Attended #HandsOffBeverly #ICEoutforGood and the woman next to me held my shoulder at one point and said, “It gets to me, too”, as I realized I was crying while we cheered a 101 yo veteran driving by in a caravan of decorated cars circling our rally in solidarity.

No one's life should be at risk for simply existing in their communities or exercising their rights.

Learn these. Remember them. Share them with your neighbors.

I will continue to use every tool my office has to protect our immigrant community and ensure our residents know their rights.

Trump is lying about the murder of Renee Nicole Good.

The ICE officer was NOT run over. Renee was a legal observer, a wife, and a mother exercising her First Amendment rights. She was shot anyway—and the agent fled the scene.

Call your electeds. Demand justice. Do not let this disappear.

#Intermezzo by Sally Rooney was a wonderful read. Poignant, frustrating. The characters are steeped in the echos of Irish catholic guilt.

Maybe it hit me more because I binged it on the anniversary of my father’s death. 📚 #bookreview

One chapter left in my audiobook and Spotify tells me that I’ve reached my limit of free hours for the month. F-ing criminal format if you ask me.

I thought one book a month was included in my subscription, a civilized and respectful way of limiting my access. 📚
