Thursday quilt day! I had a years-long love affair with Pacific Rim 2 fabric appliqué patterns. After years of being afraid of & in awe of appliqué I ordered an instructional video & fell in love with needle turn appliqué.

Thursday quilt day!
Found the scenic panel at a fabulous quilt store in Cody, WY. The precision required is at the edge of my abilities but I was happy enough with the result.

In 2021 I took a break from quilting to crochet my Covid blanket - a spin off of a temperature blanket. Colors represent the #of Covid cases in my county. #crochet #quilting #bskyquilting
I wasn’t familiar with that pattern- the pictures I found are beautiful. May have to add that to my list of quilts I want to make!
Used a combination of appliqué and reverse appliqué to make this for a friend. *Not associated with any professional sports team*

One of my top 3 quilts I’ve ever made. Pacific Rim Quilt plumeria pattern on a Hoffman bloom panel.
Beautiful! The quilting adds so much!
So many little pieces in this one! I like the outcome but not sure I’d do it again.

I’m looking for suggestions on patterns for quilting this wall hanging. Has to be hand quilted-it’s my favorite part of quilting. Plus my machine is old & not built for machine quilting! #bskyquilting #handquilting #quilt #quilting
