We’re incredibly grateful for organisations like Staffordshire Women’s Aid, who work tirelessly to support families and professionals- to challenge abuse in all its forms.

Together, we continue to listen, learn, and stand alongside those impacted by abuse💜

Sibling Abuse is something we hear about far more often than people might realise, especially from those we support at PEGS.

Back in December, we were really encouraged to see sibling abuse acknowledged in the newly released VAWG strategy.

We’ve been using CPA (Child to Parent Abuse) since launching our services in 2020.

To ensure we were reflecting the voices of those most impacted , we asked PEGS’ parents the same question... and over 90% said CPA is the term they prefer.

These are just some of the experiences that parental figures have bravely shared with us, this is why raising awareness of CPA matters so much.

It’s not just about recognising the behaviours, but about ensuring families have access to the trauma informed support they deserve.

Just as with any form of domestic abuse, Child to Parent Abuse (CPA) can have a significant impact on other children in the home regardless of their relationship to the child displaying the behaviours.

Our Vision

A world where:

Child to Parent Abuse is empathetically and effectively responded to by professionals.

Parents are listened to, believed and empowered.

Organisations develop best-practice, policies and upskill front-line staff.
