haven't attempted a fisheye in a long time
it was on a whim but im more than satisfied with the result and where i am as an artist
I like how intrusive and gloomy this one feels with such vibrant colors

I greatly enjoy giant and harmless animals deep in the void doing nothing
it's also a huge plus that they are so smooth and you can't even comprehend how isolated they all feel in the middle of nowhere. what a perfect subject to draw

part of me wanted to use as little outlines as possible today
photography inspired drawings feel like they give me way more exp than wing-it drawings. colors tend to jump around a lot in reality but they become pretty cohesive, good to use reference and experiment

surprised how well it turned out considering im just using my usual brushes. drawing what feels a bit flatter but purposeful is nice to conceptualize, i think it goes a long way if you know what a good looking 'flat' looks like, i guess?

figured i'll zoom out a bit. sometimes i want to draw everything else to support the focus of the drawing. kind of like making a fancy pedestal
i used to look at a cloudy white sky and think we're covered in a big sheet of paper, like it's the default color. but i like it blank
