Hello Senator…I’m not a constituent but I hope you’ll consider speaking out about the fact that R’s control the gov’t and as such have a Constitutional responsibility to fund it. That means it’s on them to secure enough D votes in the Senate to get over the 60 vote hurdle. Thank you 🙏🏻

Right on Senator. Don’t overlook the power of your statement that they’re in charge. It’s their constitutional duty to propose legislation to reopen the government that will earn and secure enough D senators’ votes to get to 60. Repeat, repeat, repeat.

Congresswoman, you all have picked this as the reason to defy the R’s. Messaging has been good. But you should also be stating the case, over and over, that R’s control gov’t and its THEIR responsibility to earn the votes of enough D Senators to pass legislation to fund the gov’t.
