Update: there is at least one major issue. I guess this means I can fix all the minor issues I came across too. But that means this video won't be out today.

A week and a half later, I'm finally free (provisionally)! Barring any major issues, this supercut should be out by Monday-ish.

The video clocks in at 11.5 hours and it'll take about 17.5 hours to render. At ~100MB per min. of video, I'll get a ~700GB file.

That said, it's only a claim with no restrictions, so it's not really an issue this time around. But really, you can get claimed for things you can't even verify yourself? That doesn't seem fair.

Just to be clear, I'm not putting any blame on the vtuber being clipped here. She's free to do whatever she wants on her streams. But it is a reminder for me to be aware of the stream BGM in future clipping streams.

You can get copyright-claimed on YouTube for things that aren't even public? Really?

YouTube video copyright claims modal. The recorded livestream "[CLIPPING] Making clips of W I D E @niceeggy" received two audio claims that do not restrict the video at the moment.

Do not do math at 3am. That's only a 100MB/h * 11.5h = ~70GB file, which is much more manageable.

This supercut is the longest video I've worked on, and the one that takes from the most number of sources. It will probably keep that record for a very long time.
