This tele-boner took me down a rabbit hole. That particular one was a sort of art project (allegedly?) but inspired a slew of other "kinetic" devices that would change shape for function. I present the 2011 Nokia Kinetic which operated based on what ways you literally bent it. Wild.

Dang, that makes sense though. That's why I always yank out the ID and show them it just in case, I don't want my favorite store getting pinched. I am wondering though if they're using the "ID anyone that looks under 55" rule and applying it to me, which stings.
