The Art Society of Monmouth County planned a plein air event today at Cheesequake Park. I dabbed, dabbed, and dabbed. I still have to add the marsh grass. One woman told me to be sure to sign my name and date it. It’s not a great painting, but it was fun doing it.

Finished another shawl in the moss stitch. Our prayer shawl ministry received a TON of orange yarn but I don’t want to make anything that looks too Halloween-ish. So, I made this. But I still have an overabundance of orange. 🤣

There‘s a beautiful moon out tonight, which I didn’t notice until I returned home after our prayer shawl ministry meeting. We don’t have prayer shawl meetings in July and August. So, it was nice to see everyone again along with all the wonderful creations they made during the summer.

Yesterday I saw the Frog Prince sitting beside the koi pond. He didn’t move. I wondered if he was afraid of the large koi swimming around the pond, but he wasn’t a small frog. I doubted if he would fit in the mouth of the koi. Read more here:
