On Tuesday morning at 4am, the director Marin Scarlett and a team of around 20 people illegally drilled into the The People’s Letters bookshop (formerly The Scarlett Letters) to clear it out. Three workers were sleeping downstairs, including one who is 27 weeks pregnant.
