Szocha means to join him momentarily, but had offered to put his gunberd in their shared dressing room while she unloaded her own munitions. It's almost too heavy for her to lift, but she manages to open the door and carry it as far as the weaponstand just inside. She hangs up his belt and then her paintbrush and palette beside it, also magitek-based but adapted to a pictomancer’s style of magic. Out of the corner of her eye, she can see Albeleo shutting off his handheld viewer's screen and rising from the chaise he had been lounging upon.
