I don't understand why my engagement is so high on Threads and so low on Bluesky. I know my special blend of photography, politics, and stoner nonsense is not for everyone, but it just seems weird at this point.

The young lady in these 'before & after' photos came to my neighbor's flat in Paris looking as she does on the left. I asked if I could take her photo; she sheepishly obliged. I took off her glasses, tousled her hair & angled her toward an Ikea lamp. Then I told her to look at me like she hated me.

Advice: Don't join FB groups for ppl w/ Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. They're 60% incorrect info, 38% straight complaining & asking for $ (understandable, but draining) and 2% real medical research that's too dry to get through. I just left 5 groups and already feel like a huge weight has been lifted.

I've had my patented Paula closet in most places I've lived since I was 22. It's an 8' upper rod for shirts, with dresses on either end & a 5' lower rod for pants & skirts. Both poles are covered in white fluorescent light covers & they're attached with screw eyes, S-hooks & white plastic chain...

I am not, nor have I ever been, a wedding photographer. It's just too much responsibility and risk for me to handle. But when I get invited to weddings, there's always the same added request - please shoot photos with your silly phone so the other photographer doesn't notice what you're doing...
