Summary of afterreign's story:

An array of things could happen after that. Kurusu, having already stood up in this hypothetical scenario of Goro’s, could break out in a full sob that echoes within the enclosed café, ugly, fat tears rolling down his cheeks as he blabbed about how much he missed him, how he spent countless nights concocting fantasies of this very moment. Or he could play it cool, punching Goro in the shoulder like one of his “bros” (Sakamoto is entirely to blame for this), and say it’s nice to have him back in a tone not unlike someone greeting an underpaid coworker returning from taking the weekend off. Or Kurusu could simply walk up and hug him without a word—an embrace so lethal that the radiating warmth would remind Goro that he is, above all else, alive. That when he does die (because he has to at some point, right?), this is what he’ll never experience again. This is what he’ll miss.

Or: Two years after Maruki's Palace has collapsed, Goro contemplates reuniting with Kurusu. Simply ignore the part where he's basically standing outside of Café Leblanc already, yes?

Summary of afterreign’s story “gotcha gacha, anyone?”

It takes thirty minutes before Ryuji fixes Akira with a look. "Uh, dude?"

"Yeah?" says Akira, but it's easy to tell there's not much thought behind the response. He's too preoccupied with diligently tapping away at his phone, glass breaking and what the trio can only describe as plop sounding off with each finger press.

"Ain't this just Candy Crush?"

That gets Akira to look up. He lets out an offended gasp. "No, it's Cookie Run: Witch's Castle."
