Didn't take long for this Cooper's Hawk to strike. About half an hour after I discovered this predator perched among the grape vines an unsuspecting bird wandered too close and became dinner. #birds

Wow! A majestic Cooper's Hawk landed 10 feet from my backdoor. First one I've seen visiting my yard. The usual sparrows and other song birds are nowhere to be seen. I wonder why? #birds

Underneath my bird feeder there is a bunch of spillage caused mostly by grackles flinging the seeds around. A bunny decided to get in on the feeding. #birds
