Trump has bombed Nigeria, attacked Venezuala, and terrorized my hometown of Chicago. None of it legal. The tab in Chicago is about $60M to date. The tab overseas? Billions. What a disgrace. The gutless GOP Congress has done nothing to stop him.

Police officers-for better and for worse-have the training and the authority to use lethal force to defend themselves and neutralize a threat. National guard soldiers don't. In an urban environment, with lots of uncertainty, they are sitting ducks.
If you want to blame someone for the tragic death of a national guard member in DC, focus on the president who assigned her to that pointless, dangerous mission. Trump put her in harm's way under false pretenses. He's still lying about it.
