This means GPT6 etc, isn’t going anywhere and they know it. So just like Elon, they’re making a play to be an everything company.

Exactly how much longer do we have to suffer this grift?

An artificial heart for children with congenital heart defects was almost finished. Families had waited for years it.

Then, Trump canceled billions in grants for universities — including the grant for this device.

The cruelty is endless. www.npr.org/2025/10/09/n...
This 4-year-old's heart is failing. A federal grant that might help him was canceled
A Cornell University researcher has been developing an artificial heart for children for more than 20 years. Now, his research is on hold and his lab is shut down.

They have the money for a $20 billion bailout for Argentina to prop up investments made by Trump’s billionaire buddies, but no money for health care for working Americans. America First, right? 😏

Exceptional essay from @brianbeutler.bsky.social:

"If the politics of tyranny were self-discrediting, we wouldn't need mantras like 'never again.'"

"Despotism doesn’t impose itself on everyone all at once. It creeps inward from the margins of society."

Schmitt: "Let's just call it out. We need a cleansing here. Let's just be truthful about what's happening. This left-wing political violence is not a both sides thing. It's not."

Thank you for saying it. The loss of objective truth and belief in the need for evidence is insidious and infectious. We can’t allow ourselves to succumb to it.

“Bucking tradition?”

NPR, you do realize that he’s going to try to destroy you, no matter how carefully you try to soft pedal what he’s doing, right? Right?

I’ve been using the term narrative, but agreed. Beyond each individual, outrage, beyond all of them collectively, is the stress of seeing all these things and knowing that otherwise same people will insist that you are lying about it, no matter what evidence you present.

Bingo. The most that anyone should be saying when asked about GOP claims on healthcare in the shutdown is, “It’s bullshit and you should be ashamed of yourself for repeating it.” Then hammer on the impact of the cuts. And then repeat, and refuse follow ups.

The media are not your friends.

In politics, the party that generates the narrative wins. The party that chases behind with corrections loses.

Dems need to be united and they need to control the narrative with boldness, truth, & standing up to the bullies. Never let them off the hook.

In other words, the alpha messaging wins.

Ext time you run into some low-information voter who gives you some lame line about how we have to do something about immigration, show them this. Ask them if this is what they mean.

The next time you see a video like this? Save that one too. Show #2 when they say it’s just one incident.

A lot of people wondering what the general staff was thinking after that ridiculous meeting the other day. My guess? They are angry not just with Trump and Hegseth, but with the electorate who put them in this position.
