Recently met with local farmers and representatives from the NFU for a valuable discussion on the issues currently facing the sector in Suffolk — from rural exception sites and international trading relations to climate challenges and mental health support for farmers.

Had a brilliant visit to Abbots Hall Primary Academy last week - I was impressed by the students’ ideas for new laws, from banning plastics to tackling littering.

Some of their other suggestions might be a little harder to achieve… like a three-day school week or capping the price of a Freddo! 🍫

To see a synagogue attacked on Yom Kippur, our holiest day, is shocking.

My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and the Jewish community.

I'm grateful to the emergency services for their swift response.

Let’s be clear: no reliable study shows paracetamol causes autism.

Many worry because of recent claims, but scientific consensus still rejects a causal link.

We should base policy and health advice on solid evidence.

Families like mine come together to eat sweet foods, in the hope of a sweet year ahead.
