Had a brilliant visit to Abbots Hall Primary Academy last week - I was impressed by the students’ ideas for new laws, from banning plastics to tackling littering.

Some of their other suggestions might be a little harder to achieve… like a three-day school week or capping the price of a Freddo! 🍫

Great turnout in Elmswell last night - over 50 residents joined to discuss a range of topics, including railways, devolution, housing, and farming!

Thanks to everyone who came along - I'm looking forward to the next one later this month in Barningham!

Ending child hunger must be a national mission.

No child should struggle to learn on an empty stomach.

At Labour Conference, I set out how this government is taking real action to tackle malnutrition and obesity.

Stopped at The Moreton Hall for a quick tea after an afternoon of canvassing!

It was great to chat with local residents about the NHS and hear their views on how we can strengthen our health services for the future. #NHS

Terrible news from Manchester today.

To see a synagogue attacked on Yom Kippur, our holiest day, is shocking.

My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and the Jewish community.

I'm grateful to the emergency services for their swift response.

Excitement building here in the Conference Hall ahead of the Prime Minister’s speech.

Just over a year into government, looking forward to hearing how Labour will continue delivering for Britain.

Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year, starts this evening. It offers the chance to pause, and reflect on the year gone by.

Families like mine come together to eat sweet foods, in the hope of a sweet year ahead.

Wishing a peaceful Rosh Hashanah to all celebrating.

Shana Tova!

Fantastic to meet Nick Mackenzie, CEO of
Greene King, to discuss how the Government can support pubs.

Greene King are a brilliant company right at the heart of Bury St Edmunds, and I'll continue championing them in Parliament.

When he should have been in Parliament, Nigel Farage was in the USA arguing for trade sanctions on Britain.

Talking our country down, and pushing for higher prices. How unpatriotic.

I raised this Point of Order in Parliament.👇
