Rejoining the EU by eating the Brexit Elephant one bite at a time. I will defend myself but I do not want to engage in culture wars. Better to find what we do agree on and work to an acccomodation from there.

Am I alone in noticing that Kemi Badenoch says the Stamp Duty Land Tax she made much of Angela Rayner not getting right first time should not actually exist?

Do we know how Labour getting on with their negotiations to lose Kemi Badenoch?
peterturner.bsky.social
Presumably they are trying to negotiate down the price of somebody taking her.

I know - but I like the idea that if Labour negotiates we lose her.

If Labour are on the ball a stooge question for next week's PMQs asking how he is getting on with negotiating losing her would be brilliant.

I thought I would be helpful and correct the message on Badenoch's choccie bar for her.

Dominic Grieve is right. Leaving the European Convention on Human Rights would be a reckless act of self-harm, breaking security ties, breaching international law, and weakening Britain’s standing while doing nothing to solve the problems this government pretends to fix.

Leaving the ECHR because you do not like somebody shows the same level of wisdom as cutting your leg off to lose weight because somebody told you that you are fat.

Gary Neville is right that Britain once took pride in its mix of people, united by purpose not hate, but Brexit and those who profit from division have broken that spirit, and rebuilding it must begin with decency, solidarity and the will to stand together again.
