One thing I will say, 2B fair to EP40, is that he took that massive hit in the CAL game. Maybe his shoulder is a bit banged up and that's why he was so brutal in the FO dot today?

I dunno... he hasn't been that bad in a long time.

We'll see how he looks on Monday.

I just can't believe a kid that owned the NHL from ages 19 - 23 can forget what he's capable of.

Again, we'll see... I have to believe though because I want a Cup and if he can get back, then we have a chance at it.

Frustrated though... for sure.

He used to know how to do that, used to be defiant in the way he hunted the puck down and dared people to try and stop him.

It's in there... but does HE believe he's that player anymore?

Well that's something for EP40... team needs SO MUCH more from him.

I don't see ANY hunger from him to disprove the current narrative, to prove vs 2 of the best plyrs in the NHL that he deserves 2B in that convo etc.

Only he can change the narrative, has the talent to do it, does he have the will?

He'll be better, tonight's game wasn't great. He was fine defensively but EDM didn't play McDavids line against his line much so they shouldn't have had to be on the defense at all... sadly, they got hemmed in the Dzone a bunch by a line centered by a rookie.

Really disappointing game... hope Quinn Hughes rips a strip off of everyone and that the entire leadership group lets Petey know that that wasn't good enough.

Came on in the 3rd but too many stoopid penalties/passes doomed them
