They probably look pretty interesting under blacklight, but I haven't plugged mine in to test it. I doubt there's enough interference from the shimmer color to totally negate the green and purple UV pigments.

Managed to get a half-decent video of Witching Hour in action. That big spot of green at the back of his head shows its violet sheen pretty clearly. A lot of the areas of the toy you perceive as purple are actually green but appear purple because of the shine color.

Thank you! I'm really enjoying the results thus far. They've all been pretty unique even though they're poured the same way.

Now that I've seen how it looks in the two most extreme firmnesses, I'm pretty sure it'll be just as good in 0030, and would be an excellent MTO candidate for all models, if there's enough interest in that.

I believe we have an answer to the question, "Does Witching Hour look good in 0020?"

If anything, it looks even more like the mystical brew it's supposed to be! Once again, the photos don't do it justice, it's super shifty even in poor indoor lighting.

A better look at the new Witching Hour prototype, now that I've got daylight to work with. This still somehow doesn't quite do it justice.

I doubted that particular design choice a bit at first, because the green-with-purple-shine didn't look as nice in the pot, but it's a totally different story in the final pour. Always nice when you're pleasantly surprised by the outcome! 😆

I'm going to have to try and take a video or something, though, because when I say a still photo doesn't do it justice, it's an understatement! It's shimmery and complex thanks to the purple and green having a green and purple sheen respectively.

The last time I featured this color, I was moving it in more of a "Pastel Halloween" direction, but it was a sort of complex color mix so I didn't commit to it fully. This experiment is a lot easier to make consistent, by comparison, and I think it hits the goal better, too.

Out of my two main Halloween house colors, Nightmare Hollow usually gets most of the attention. I thought I might try to further push its sibling color, Witching Hour, to a flashier extreme and try to even the scales a bit.

I think it might've worked!

Nothing too precise, but a drop needs to happen within about a week, barring any unforeseen circumstances that might make me push it back.

Truly the most wonderful time of the year!

He's a flashy one! I love how marbles turn out on him (something about the shape of the mold causes some of the coolest patterns), and this one's no exception 😁

It's October... that means it's time to GET SPOOKY! 👻🎃I think this experiment for Nightmare Hollow 2025 (the marble version for non-shafted things) is looking pretty striking.

Shouldn't be too much longer before I have enough stuff for a restock. 😁
pfcreations.bsky.social
Oh that would be fun! Incidentally, I think I did a few early pours kind of like this (black + another color), so you might just be seeing a few even if I don't get the chance to make something more specific. We're moving into the perfect time of year for black combo pours! 🎃

But as usual, if there's something you'd really like to see on one of these new fellows (well, new SIZES... and in Ryou's case, a minor revision with much smoother fin creases), feel free to post your inspo!
pfcreations.bsky.social
Unsure as to whether I will offer Nightmare Hollow MTOs; current issue I'm dealing with is a really gnarly heat wave and trying to get a restock (with all these new guys!) up before I do anything else. That drop will probably be a fairly random assortment of colors.

So in the end, all of them were molded twice, except Silvius, who was molded four times and then I decided I would heed the obvious warning from the cosmos and take him back to the drawing board 😂💀

All these shenanigans have definitely thrown off my schedule.

Been losing molding silicone so fast it'd make your head spin! Since I was making 4 Medium molds and 1 Small, a LOT of silicone went straight to the trash when the first molds all flash-cured inside. Then all the castings I did in those molds went out with 'em.
pfcreations.bsky.social
Hopefully I won't need to change too much, but I definitely need to alter the area under the head. Medium Silvius is responsible for FOUR mold failures (or at least, three confirmed, I didn't dare cast into the final mold since it's clearly flawed).
pfcreations.bsky.social
It's been an extremely uphill battle, but I'd say 3/4 model lines completed is gonna have to be a win for now!

Unfortunately, Silvius is going to require a total reprint and re-mold, since the model produces consistent errors that need to be revised.
pfcreations.bsky.social
There's a vague plan for Nightmare Hollow-specific MTOs, but since I'm officially pivoting away from MTOs as much as possible, I don't have any plans for other MTO types.
pfcreations.bsky.social
I'm hoping to have some stock by then, yes, but all five of my new molds flopped, so I'm not exactly sure what will be in that restock 😆But my big penetrables should be part of it, since nobody else typically gets the 0020 (and none of the new guys would use it anyway). As for MTOs, probably not.
pfcreations.bsky.social
It's intended to have multiple uses, and that's one of them! The other is as a mini penetrable, but it remains to be seen how practical it will be for either/both of those functions. Everything about this fella is an experiment 😆

Thank you! 😭❤️It's so validating to hear folks enjoy some of my more unusual projects (in Ryou's case) and my adopted ones. Whenever I buy a model, I always wonder how well it'll fit in with my originals. I do add my own touches, but it's tricky to balance that with preserving the original design.
