Hot take: finding glucose on an asteroid is crazy. Did we find all the other stereoisomers (15? 31? 63? I didn't do the actual math, which is why it's a hot take) of a C6 sugar, as well? If not, WTAF? Why glucose?

While surfing this morning I was chatting with a friend in the water. SDFC losing in the MLS semis came up, and he mentioned the San Diego curse. I pointed out it was a sunny (cool, but not overly so) Monday morning and we were in the ocean chasing waves. I don't feel so cursed 😎

We had a weird weekend in our household, but as things were returning to normal this afternoon, the 10 yo said "Dad, the beach smells like a hint of home" and it warmed my heart

One thing I like about Bluesky (it's my first real social media foray, so forgive me if I'm being naive) is that I will read a score of skeets I don't understand and then I will hit critical mass with a single skeet that ties it all together and all the previously confusing skeets now make sense

We've had clean swell for at least three days. I had a great session on Sat, a poor one yesterday, and a pretty good one today, all at shoulder to head high. The swell is still showing here at sunset today. So I might just be surfing 4 days in a row as of tomorrow morning. I love this time of year
