In 2026, as America turns 250, we’re celebrating with a story only art can tell. “A Nation of Artists” is a sweeping, once-in-a-generation exhibition presented with Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Opening April 2026, only in Philadelphia.

Lately, the weather feels like stepping into Van Gogh’s "Rain." Diagonal streaks slice the sky in his homage to Japanese prints.

His window overlooked a wheat field. Ours might show traffic or trees, but the feeling remains the same: stormy, beautiful, and quietly intense.

A rare visit from a Philly legend.

This Eakins painting is on loan from Crystal Bridges through May 19. Catch it next to "The Gross Clinic" while you still can.

Some people meditate.
Some people run.
Some people stare at a Pollock for 20 minutes and feel their soul shift.
We support all three.

Happy birthday to Piet Mondrian, who was born on this day in 1872. Working with only the most basic elements—straight lines and primary colors—Mondrian strove to create pure objective art that he believed would change the world.
