AI DEEPFAKE OF ME SPEWING RUSSIAN PROPAGANDA.
This is very disturbing because, with the exception of the moving image of me at the beginning of my segment, the words and images are not mine. My voice is AI generated and - I assume - sounds very like me. (I can't hear the join) Disgraceful.

Also featured in the latest batch of Russian disinformation videos are comedian @geoffnorcott.bsky.social and children's author @philipardagh.bsky.social, again with their voices being deepfaked to attack Armenia.

The trouble with having lost SO much weight, when I turn sideways, I'm SO thin it's hard to see me on stage. (I'm in the righthand end chair.)

“Show us your warrant!”

“Ma’am, you’ve been watching too many movies. We’ll show you the warrant after we’re done.” 🤔

I'm heading to Wigtown - the Scottish Book Town - for the Wigtown Book Festival, have reached the Lake District, AND THE SUN IS STILL SHINING. Unheard of! Here's the year I was there with Lucy Mangan. (She's the one of the right.) @wigtownbooktown.bsky.social

So kind, so very kind. I have so little time for myself, ALWAYS thinking of others...

I am SO busy being humble that I have little time for anything else. It's NEVER about me, Projjwal. So giving!

This popped up on my timeline this morning. With my constant philanthropy and radiating goodness and selflessness 24/7, even I forget sometimes just HOW giving I am.

When you have a platform and use it for good. The wonderful Hugh Bonneville. The skill is to move on before the interviewer can say, "Yes, but..."

Now there's a surprise!

Hmmm. So the low birth rate and migration means that there won't be enough people in the west do do all the jobs to keep the infrastructures working for the older generations. Hmmmm. I wonder what the solution might be?

Increased immigration?

I (genuinely) have a small colony of bats living in my attic which is why I can't convert it. But what would I convert a colony of bats to? Christianity? Anyway, fortunately, these bats are not the rabid kind. What a sad and misinformed man.

Especially if that room was at IBM headquarters and you only went there to clean it, once in a while.

things were better when the computer lived in its own specific room and you only went in there sometimes

There's a real possibility that not only was Thomas Hardy's heart briefly kept in a biscuit tin but that a cat ate it. This can be neither proved nor disproved because authorities have refused an exhumation, despite the fact that the rest of Hardy's remains are 115+ miles away in Westminster Abbey.

The toilet on Apollo 10 broke and poo floated around while the astronauts argued about whose it was, based on consistency eg that one's too sticky it's not mine

Ok folks: what is your favorite fact that you share with people (maybe a bit too) eagerly?
