Should have been out WR1 all season long. Brutally obvious on tape to anyone looking at it with an honest eye.
Devonta Smith deserves better

Anyone in the mood for positivity rabbit stew? I once ate rabbit in a ragu sauce in Italy. Molto Delizioso!!!

This just in: Sirianni is going to be extra involved this week in the offense. He was only more involved this past week.

The run play calls in overtime are disgusting. They have so many calls that work better than these that they aren't using.

Thank goodness Sirianni got "more involved" this week.

1) shoot me
2) why did it take the head coach of an underperforming offense 13 games before getting "more involved?"
3) If anyone knows anyone who can get in Howie or Lurie's ear, I will be discreet and can fix most of this mess.

Wow, I never thought I'd be that excited to see a simple TE screen out to the perimeter. Almost a 1st down even. Progress.

Can the defense just play offense for us too?

Damn you have to hurt little Adoree like that? Pop up Adoree and talk some smack to him once you get your wind back!!!

I haven't watched Seahawks yet. But we have the best roster in the NFC vs the rest of the field. For that reason, I still have 1% hope for a Super Bowl.

Vic, Siri, Patullo, and Stout need to wake up fast for that to happen. Especially the O coaches.

I love how every media person is like, “The Eagles offense is too simple.”

No duh. It’s been kind of simple for 5 years. You can be more simple and still call good plays. They just call/design bad plays.

Not a lot of faith in the Birds tonight, but I do think that adding positivity rabbit is a better panic move than Matt Patricia in 2023

The Eagles need to move the chains better.....which is a crazy thing to need to say with this talent. I'm fishing through the short passing game from last year. I showed mesh the other day. This thread is another simple concept from '24 they can also bring back for cheap yards.

Way to kick a person when they are down, Mr McManus.

Somebody get me some eggs quick….
A fitting punishment for the jerk(s) who egged The Eagles Kevin Pattullo's house is to make them the offensive coordinator for a month and see how brilliant they are at the job. Maybe they wouldn't be so stupid after that.

We only have two completions on last year's version of mesh this season, both designed for Calcaterra of all people. One went for 16 yds. Last completion vs Bucs.

We only have one successful completion all year in the version of mesh we saw vs Bears. Several weeks ago, to Slim.
I don't watch the passing game in detail every game. But judging by Bears game, we ran mesh much better last year than this one. 5 example thread. No volume.

Look at the interference the two TE's provide for Slim. Look at the smart use of motion to help Slim get freed up.

I can't remember the last time this season that Calcaterra caught a pass off a hot route. I always forget the difference b/w hot and site adjustment. But basically, he sees someone is going and that he's uncovered. He turns around open. Hurts knows he's going to do this pre-snap if he's hot.

AAAAnnnnnndddd.....this is partially why Byron Young cannot be DT4. Because now.....he's DT3. That not ok. That's very much not ok.

That should have been addressed before the trade deadline. And other DTs on roster and PS should have at least gotten more snaps.

This is where AJ does his best. He is not a deep ball threat. He is good at slants, but no longer a master. Throw a 20-30 yd back shoulder on a rope and let him box someone out, low RZ, intermediate dig from outside # s. Occasional Mesh where he usually sets pick. Occasional slant. He's WR2.
December 4, 2025 at 6:03 PM
3rd and 9. Still not hots vs the blitz, but they at least realize the situation, max protect, and dial up Slim beyond the sticks.
December 4, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Another 3rd down 2 yard drag wAJ as primary.
This one is at least a decently designed mesh for the 1st time all game.

But even if Hurts throws this to AJ with near perfect timing, it is 4 yards short of the stix with a waiting overhang who can probably make the tackle.
December 4, 2025 at 5:06 PM
AJ doesn't come open on the primary (5 yard slant) until > 1.5 seconds and has to get away with an obvious push off in order to do it.

Hurts choosed to dump it off. Too many of our route combos are slow.
