So farewell to 2025. More boxes have been opened than have been shut. Hopefully 2026 may see a resolution so many of these unsolved problems.

At least the pub with the tunnel was not considered to be the oldest pub in Britain with an anti-clockwise stair to the cellar.

I recall seeing newsreel footage of the Paris uprising of 1944 and the use of petrol bombs being thrown from upper floor windows. Very effective at very short range.

Just watched it and congratulate all involved with a fitting and dignified investigative operation of an event, you told a human story without it being sensational. This is how it should be done.

Thank you all for a lovely morning tour session. Most informative and lots of enthusiasm from all the guides. This is how public interaction and engagement spreads the word about the excellent work you are all doing. The dog dreamed of all those bones but alas they were merely creations in plastic.

I thought it was burn out for me but it turned out to be the onset of type 2 diabetes, with no typical symptoms showing.

Sorry to hear this Chris, just ensure you’re looking after yourself properly as the burn out maybe a signal of more serious underlying issues. Get yourself checked out so that you’re not worrying about worrying about it.

I remember when this sat under an old tarp and some scaffolding in an unkept part of the parkland. Shame the new building is already getting a little tired, not built by the Romans clearly.
