Meet Avisoa from Manombo, a small community near the imperiled rainforest of Ivohiboro in Madagascar. She is one of thousands of people that have joined our reforestation efforts, planting Foxhole Forests, digging firebreaks, and collecting seeds.

It's #WorldWildlifeConservationDay! Wild animals are vital members of the endangered ecosystems we work to restore, and many are imperiled themselves. Greater Prairie-Chickens are emblematic of the northern Great Plains, but their populations have dwindled.

🔥We just added 10 miles of firebreaks to protect Madagascar's rainforests!🌳

Our site in Ivohiboro is inside a protected area, but thanks to support from the IUCN SOS program, we've extended our efforts to forest fragments north of Ivohiboro.

Great Plains Seed Collection 2025 was another smashing success!

We collected seeds from 30 native plant species in Ft. Pierre National Grassland in South Dakota, all of which will help us restore endangered prairies across the region.

🔥🛑 Firebreak maintenance just finished in Madagascar! 🇲🇬

Firebreaks protect Ivohiboro forest from wildfires. The bare soil prevents fires from reaching forest, but the maintenance jobs have also led to a dramatic decrease in fires being set.
