I found out during the editing of my latest video, that the 2010 Pound Puppies show was co-created by the creators of Recess. And, not gonna lie, as a fan of Recess, it kind of makes me curious to check this show out. Is it any good?

AI does not generate art. It generates images. Soulless, lifeless images, the visual equivalent of plastic. Somehow simultaneously overly detailed and colorful, and not detailed nor colorful enough, lacking human touch and polluting the world with its existence.

I agree. It also sucks that gen AI is everywhere now, which means it's easy to run into accidentally, which in turn means that it's easy to accidentally use or reference for one's work, especially if they don't know what to look or listen for.

One thing that sucks about the proliferation of GenAI Garbage is it's often unlabeled. It's quite possible for creators to accidentally source an asset & not realize it was Gen AI. And that's horrifying.

There is a reason I make all my art assets.

It takes up SO MUCH energy, but I sleep soundly.

If you distribute AI-generated content, whether that be imagery or audio, you suck. You steal work from other people, and you deceive otherwise well-meaning people who don't know what to look for. I can't wait for the day AI content is sponged from the internet.

Worst of Eurovision 1987: "Amour amour" (Luxembourg). I... I think I need to shower. I feel gross having listened to this.

I consider nerds and cool kids to be opposites, and tomboys and girly-girls to be opposites. Hence why Gilda and Wendy, and Margo and April are on opposite sides here.

Also, 1980s outfits, as the 1-bit restriction reminded me of the 1980s Mac computers.

The artwork is essentially the portraits of the Tetrad from the 1980s panel of their Decades AU memes, scaled down to fit within the challenge parameters, and with said portraits on the opposite side of the character whose personality is the opposite of theirs.

My viewpoint too. The cracks definitely start to show in season 5, but it's not until season 6 where the show really slid into mediocrity.
