I think I'm gonna start distancing from Touhou related stuff. The AI bit kinda soured the whole thing and all the recent fandom shit hasn't helped either.

Also I've just been getting really into doing OCs instead. I like the creative freedom you get with making your own stuff instead.

Just the same as any other piece of art, video games have intention behind every single part of it. Someone had to decide what to put where, and how the player should feel when doing a certain thing. Video games are just multiple forms of art stitched together into an interactive experience.

Just because people may not treat them as art does not make them not art. Art is literally anything with thought and intention behind it. It's supposed to make you feel a certain way you interact with that. Video games do that all the same as every other piece of media.
