At long last our first research publication from our work on snakebite prevention in rural Southwest Uganda is finally out! Difficult to squeeze as much in as we wanted as we had loads of info from this study (more papers to come to add to supplementary material here).

The problem with AI is that the misleading word 'intelligence'. What it can't and never will do is critical evaluation (which requires genuine thought, not just knowledge of facts), and that is exactly what we aim to instil in Higher Education. Appropriate AI use is OK, AI abuse is self-defeating

Final post from Adfeilion to sum up our incredible year as 2025 comes to a close. Looking forward to 2026, with a live album release, a new studio album being written to record in March-April, and 23 confirmed gigs across Britain and Ireland. Long may this continue!

Finally bitten the bullet and joined Bluesky after months of getting nothing from Twitter. I have tried to use an importer tool to find anyone on here who I followed on Twitter, but I'm sure it will have missed people so please feel free to follow if you are one of those missed.
