This production is a breath of fresh air. It successfully puts a fresh slant to a story that's regarded as the definitive Holmes adventure. Huge shout out to the director, David Attwood, for this feat. My full review is here boxd.it/cSADqh

This is 'Upstart Crow', without the laughs! It is bleak. It is grey. I got sucked into a grey, grim world where life is tough. Even the lighter moments are presented through a prism of greyness. Overall, 4 stars, but I can see this rising to 5 stars or toppling completely. boxd.it/cKNfpj

Airplane 2025 is more reminiscent of the Confession... movies than the Airplane ones. Had it been 'Confession of a Air Hostess', it would have fitted into the genre. boxd.it/cxORjX

Yes, I did watch both Pelham films back to back. If you want a more action adventure, watch the Denzel Washington/ John Travolta version, if you want a more tense thriller, go for the Walter Matthau/ Robert Shaw version.
