For those wanting to keep track, M starts the video in my hand and then flies to the rail next to Elsie. Elsie then jumps down to the ladder before jumping to my hand while out of frame. You can see the similarities and size difference when they're next to each other.

Hanging with the birds on the megabalcony and in the apartment this morning. The one who jumped onto my hand and stayed a while is Elsie. Elsie is short for Elsie-Em, which is long for LCM, which is short for Lower-case M, since they look just like M but a bit smaller.

Meet Stumpy. This one is starting to show up a bit more often recently. They used to have a messed up foot, but now it's gone, resulting in what appears to be a slight improvement. They're not 100%, but getting by just fine these days.

So much action today! You can see the birds on my hands and arms, but the ones on my head and shoulders are underrepresented in this video. At one point this morning, I counted at least 25 birds on the balcony. Even Stumpy showed up (three guesses why we call him that).

Here is a taste of how this morning went. Land on my hand & arm, jump to my head & shoulder, fly to the container of food, back to somewhere on my body, onto the balcony, rinse, repeat.

I don't know who it was, but one of the birds brought some outside food to the balcony yesterday morning. Not sure where they got that cashew, but I'm impressed they were able to carry such a large nut up so many stories without dropping it.
