It enrages me that due to a mistake on a computer and no one checking my surgery sat in limbo for nearly six years. I mourn the time and strength lost to pain however hopeful that I’ll be able to reclaim it

I realised today that I can move again. I’m not constantly having to adjust and work around intense pain. That since surgery and the initial recovery I can actually do things. I’m not trapped in super exhaustion from how much my body hurts. I have my body back????
