October was a pretty busy month and I saw a great selection of shows, and gave a variety of star ratings!

I had a great time watching the 40th anniversary of THAT’LL BE THE DAY, but my Show of the Month has to go to the incredible production of THE BOOK THIEF.

Telling the moving story of two men whose relationship spans five turbulent decades, OUR TIME from Amici Dance Theatre Company at the Lyric Hammersmith was poignant and moving, with a strong sense of community.

The UK premiere production of THE KARATE KID - THE MUSICAL will embark on a major UK tour next spring, prior to West End and Broadway.

The tour opens at London’s New Wimbledon Theatre on Tuesday 28th April 2026.

Tonight’s Press Night for new musical HOT MESS was lots of fun.

A really original story with great songs and a fantastic cast, but can this show break the musical curse and get the elusive 5 stars?

Today we say Bon Voyage to the incredible OG cast of THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA.

This show has been part of my life since the launch party last June and what a pleasure to follow its development through the Plymouth run, be invited to review it in the West End, and to watch it become the success it is.
