Ten years after buying our first house we had an opportunity to switch coasts. Instead of taking a 40% loss at the time we rented it out and moved anyway. Guess we should have been locked up? Never knew.

As bad as that is, the destruction of the DOJ and FBI is something that exposes us so badly that it is hard to imagine how it is overcome. They were our guardians.

Thanks. I used to do a lot of project management in my career. One of the most useful things the guy/gal in that position can do is be able to visualize success for the team. It's not easy to keep it in sight for everyone, but it was a piece of the puzzle that I thought I brought to the table.

Bingo. Actually a lot of the fury, particularly keeping religion out of public schools goes back to American (Protestant) revulsion at the invasion of Irish Catholics in the mid 19th century.

Good grief. Life is expensive. Living as well as we do is not only expensive but by acting (paying) collectively we can afford things we couldn't back when we were all serfs.
