The Pixar film "HOPPERS" is set for release on March 6, 2026, featuring a technology that allows humans to communicate with robotic animals through consciousness transfer. The story follows Mabel, who dives into the mysteries of the animal world. Various related books will release between January and February 2026.

Last weekend (Aug 30-31, 2025) was the Destination D23 Event at the Walt Disney World Resort. While this D23 event isn't as big as the D23 Expos held every other year, the Destination D23 Event still manages to keep Disney fans on their toes with exciting film, parks, and merchandise announcements. Disney announced details for the Cars-themed expansion, Piston Peak National Park, at Magic Kingdom. Inspired by the Rocky Mountains and American Frontier, it will include a visitor lodge, Ranger HQ, and immersive landscapes. Although some attractions will close, parts of Rivers of America may remain. Construction begins this summer.
