You will not find anything even remotely like the "Sara Spaulding Collision Code" while watching tutorials for other engines; they just don't have to deal with the low level world collision checking and pixel pushing like we do... and I honestly wonder why we force ourselves to.

Have you messed with the physics engine at all?

There's this weird stigma around it in GM for some reason, but you go to ANY OTHER ENGINE and the first thing any tutorial will have you do is set up a physics body for a character. Why we don't do the same thing in GM is baffling to me.

You know, I thought when I made this that everyone would be caught off guard by the idea of deactivating an instance for only PART of a step, but -apparently- the real surprise is the existence of TAGS.

Your game have a static aspect ratio? But you want to draw stuff ON the black bars? This will give you the bounds of the gui event INCLUDING the black bars without having to use display_set_gui_maximize()

Last couple of days have been really productive. Released the 2nd Cameras tutorial, and recorded the Voice Over for THREE new videos. Super excited to get these out. Probably some time in the middle of January - Early February.
