i would recommend staying away from any reviews and just form an opinion yourself. gaming has evolved (in good/bad ways) significantly since the peak of the series, so don't expect an identical experience. but have an open mind and try to enjoy it!!!

i beat the game!!! it's not a perfect game, but i do think it is very good!!! the story, visuals, and music are all top notch, and it definitely has a strong silent hill vibe to it, which is impressive given silent hill's long stretch of mediocrity.
