This is a stack of 6 tracked exposures, if memory serves. Taken with a Pentax DSLR & a Tokina AT-X 90mm f/2.5 (manual focus macro). One other thing Nebraska has plenty of is dark skies. :)

Nebraska (my home) does not have mountains or (many) waterfalls but the Great Plains has most interesting weather, and in the Spring storm chasers come from all over the world to seek supercells with great structure (and, sometimes, tornadoes).

So many things to like about this image. Choice of focal point (the closest rocks), the long shutter speed, the use of depth of field… this image = my “aha!” moment for the why of ND filters.

Thanks to a couple decent YT videos, I now have Qwen2.5-Coder & Llama3.2:7b running locally on my 64GB Win10 machine. NVIDIA Quadro P2200, 5 GB. Used Ollama & Docker then Open-WebUI for one & Bolt.new for the other.

IMHO translucent PETG makes the best snow/ice pieces. Far better than mere white. #3DPrinting #BambuLab
