I finally got around to watching Superman last night, definitely the best Supes movie I've seen, although I did get a bit of a flashback to Nuclear Man from S4.

One of my neighbors in the village I helped establish was in his 70s, built his own tiny house and helped me learn wood working. He was homeless from a medical debt he couldn't pay, and no family to support him. He attended community college so the loans could help pay for medication. RIP David

Being a multidisciplinary crafter can lead to fun uses for tools.
Did you know that a hot-wire table used for cutting foam also works great for cutting polyester fabric and finishing the edge in the same step. Bonus if you run it through a power foot pedal.

I didn't trust my tiny applique to stand up to washing, so I opted to add more stitching along the edges. I ordered some rayon thread and have been couching and whipping a thicker weight, securing the seams and adding more definition. #sewsky #embroidery

First repeat on my first colorwork done! The sole and back are just a checkerboard for simplicity sake. I learned continental style so I could hold the color on my left hand and black on my right. Challenging at first, but I think I've gotten a decent rhythm #showmeyourknits #knisky
