Definitely Ivora. I don’t play mono-red frequently, but this was not only a $100 budget deck, but it was the first in a long time I’ve built using just the cards I owned at the time of building. Just a really fun deck with blood tokens and vampires and discardy stuff.

I’ve been using an Audiotechnica AT2020 for over a decade and it’s never let me down. Probably one of the better older types of USB mics.

I am curious what would become the mainstay of the format. Sol Ring goes into literally every deck these days, and it’s widely available. Maybe Mind Stone? Mana Crypt? Mana Crypt might not have been banned, maybe it would swap positions, if it were printed to the same degree?

Tomorrow I get my car towed and hopefully begin the process of getting it repaired. Fingers crossed it goes smoothly. I’m not in the physical condition to be walking extensively on my leg to have this be long-term.

So I’m out of a car for the foreseeable future, needs a new engine. Thankfully I can walk to work, but given the effusion in my knee that’s yet to be fully treated, this is gonna be a sucky few months. Can the universe stop fucking me for a while? Sorry for the venting…
