Hummingbirds can fall fatally ill from improper sweeteners.

Please use *only* white refined sugar mixed with water that has been purified by boiling. Never use honey, as that promotes dangerous fungal growth. Red food coloring is not necessary and can be harmful. See recipe below:

Factory farms, where animals are raised on an industrial scale, are a huge source of water pollution, and the EPA does not require them to hold a Clean Water Act permit to operate. Heavy metals, pesticides, antibiotics, and other contaminants end up in our rivers, wetlands, groundwater, and lakes.
