Can't decide what stupid way I want to batch my OCs to make working through them manageable. I'm thinking: sort them by tree sign (yes I already have their tree signs), the more reasonable image color sorting, in order of creation date, or mangled alphabetical order (where you follow a phrase).

I wish my preferred site wasn't dying but it is, so now I must make peace with my enemy. Not my favorite site, but I've seen worse, and the unlimited storage is quite the catch. I just hate the look of the header and left menu. orz

I found a kid lit art challenge so I'm going to try that with baby-ified ocs; there's a lot about the kidlit style I've wanted to try, so I guess this is the month I do.

So far not managing to deviate much from my usual art style, but maybe I can bring it back around with the line art.

A dark photo of a sketchbook page with an incomplete pencil drawing on it; there are a lot of structure lines. Three children are posed in Halloween costumes: a scarecrow, a little cat, and a kid who currently has no costume just a tin funnel in his head. Little doodles on the left have simple drafts of their costumes (so I can swatch colors later).

If you've seen my OCs, the little figure in the middle is Rim Baris. On the left is her older sister, and on the right is her cousin. Since the challenge is kid lit, I'm going to present this with a little scrap of story when I'm finished.

Coming up with my own prompts kinda defeats the reason I use prompts, but I might just have to do it anyways. :/

Obvious prompts are "favorite girl with (blank) idol color" & "favorite costume: MV, graduation, concert, festival" are the low hanging fruit but I'm not 100% how to expand from there.

I thought idoltober would be fun ("draw your oshi!") but it's just costumes to draw your one IRL favorite idol in... Drawing IRL people in nurse costumes for a drawing challenge is giving 🤢.

Something with prompts to draw different idols you like sounds fun though.

I need to find an ink prompt sheet for October in like... the next five minutes before I give up for the month. I forgot what October 1st meant so I didn't prepare ahead of time at all. 😭
