Please Don’t Rain is a fun, convenient way to track whether rain (or snow) will affect a day that’s important to you. When you have an important day coming up it can be cumbersome having to look up the weather for it over and over again. Not anymore!

Please Don't Rain helps you track if weather will affect an upcoming day that’s important to you. I wrote it for my upcoming theme park days but people have told me they use it for fishing, concerts, and even day to day activities.

Today's 5.10 release of Please Don't Rain is the last big release for several months. I’ll be spending the summer adding all the new goodies announced at WWDC for iOS 19.

This release contains improvements for sharing the main forecast, support for an additional font, and lots of bug fixes.

Today's 5.9 release adds a new accessibility setting.

Bar charts now have the ability to differentiate without color.

You can find this under Settings, Accessibility.

Today's 5.5 release adds a visibility chart.

Shared forecast details now include artwork (if you want).

There are now times associated with the high and low temperatures.

Today's 5.3 update has some nice updates to the Nearby Days section. There are a lot more scenarios where more data can be displayed when space is limited.

You can also now share this section!
The "Nearby Days" section of Please Don't Rain in slide-over mode. The left side only shows the precipitation chance but the right side has room to also show the rain amount because the dates are using an alternate formatting option.

iOS 18.2 launches today and Please Don’t Rain now has support for image creation thanks to Image Playground (where available)!

You can try it in demo mode for free.

iOS 18.2 will be here soon and Please Don't Rain will be ready with full support for Image Playground (requires Apple Intelligence).

You will be able to create your own weather images.
One of the welcome screens for Please Don't Rain. It says "You can choose what image you'd like shown for each weather type. And now you can create your own weather images!" Various AI avatars of different people are shown as an example for each weather type.

You can pick what beautiful images you want for each weather condition.

And Image Playground support will be ready on launch day for iOS 18.2! It's fun to add your friends and loved ones.
