Master's degree, decades of experience, multiple languages, ongoing education... yet DEI (disabled) hires like me are still seen as problematic by some. It's a reminder that acceptance can be fleeting. Thankfully, my cats don't judge my worth by my identity, just my food response time.

Do you write in multiple genres? Would you ever considered writing the same character in various genres? I think it would be fun to see how one character react in fantasy world vs horror vs romance etc.

Do you ever create a character that you love so much but have no idea how they fit in your story? I have a random ship captain, just a merchant but I have already envisioned his whole family. They are just trying to get by. I love him but not sure there’s enough to write a whole scene about.

What is it like to worldbuild? Days of creativity flowing like a faucet, character creation, cities, geography, demographic diversity and explanation, question after question answered, building a vibrant landscape and then….writers block
