It's time for the wealthy to ask themselves: Do they want to be rich people in a poor country?

Or do they want to be rich in a country with great healthcare, education, and infrastructure where everyone has economic security and the opportunity to thrive?

We would never deny that big things are hard to do!

But the alternative is a country where working Canadians dutifully pay their taxes and the uber-rich don't.

Strongly recommend that anyone interested in BC finances take the time to watch @iglikaivanova.bsky.social presentation. Too often our provincial finances are abbreviated to 30 second sound bites. It is more complicated and Iglika does an amazing job filling in the gaps. No need for austerity.
