Sunset over Sendai, as seen from the Otakamori viewpoint up in the nearby islands to the north east of the city. Sun has dropped behind some clouds but the whole scene is a stunning gradation of oranges, from light to super dark. The massive "Kannon" statue in Sendai can be seen at the right-middle of the frame.

Four and half minute exposure from the top of our block of flats in Ōmori, Tokyo. Looking south, we see the Rout 15 road and Keikyu train line. The 300mm lens on my Hasselblad H4D-40 has compressed the depth of this scene. The blocks of flats you see in the background are 1km from where I shot this photo.
