[PMDxColosseum Concept]
Little Sadie's help from inside of the city.

(Sozz for the repost I needed to tweak some stuff)

A hooded Maractus and an Ampheros in a scarf meet outside on the outside of a tall wall. It’s night time, evidenced by the crescent moon in the sky.

Maractus: “Hey Sidney! Sorry, stock is low today. I’ll get you extra next week!” The Pokémon holds a long, needle-less cactus with a cork on the top.

Sidney the Ampheros: “Oh- That’s not necessary, Miss. You and Mrs. B already give us so much… Thank you!”

Sidney goes to grab the cactus from the Maractus when the hooded figure suddenly stops them.

Maractus: “Hang on- Before you go…” The Maractus starts to pull down her hood.

The Maractus looks up at Sidney with sad eyes. She’s wearing bracelets on each arm and the flowers on her head have holes in them.

Maractus: “Sadie… You know… We always have a spare bed in our home…”

Sidney turns and smiles at the worried Maractus, now holding the cactus gifted to them. “I know, Mrs. Mia. I wish I could… Thank you again for the water!”

(Before you ask, yes, “Sadie” was intentional)

Sidney and a Mantyke named Ailre walk together away from the city. Beyond the wall there are plenty of buildings and a extremely tall one in its center.

Ailre carries the cactus on ser head as sea floats along.

Ailre: “Was she bad?”

Sidney: “No no… She’s super nice.”

Ailre: “But you’re upset now.”

Sidney: “I am. But it’s not at her… I’m upset I can’t ever accept what she offers.” She says while she scratches at the markings under their scarf.
