I think what I'm learning is some of these GLs with weaker plots are just better done as a binge otherwise I lose interest half way through 🤣

true and I like that they at least didn't run away from the issue and directly confronted it with some level of nuance, which I can't always say for messiness in other GLs 💀😭

I've started watching Dangerous Love and it has very messy vibes too, I'm waiting to see what they actually address.

You're not wrong, I think they paid some minor lip service to 'you need to stop if she's not into it' but it felt like a footnote.

That said I really can't judge what people like because I still love Blank in all it's problematic messiness 🤣

It definitely has its problematic aspects as with many of these shows.

Also whichever GL gets super popular in fandom circles (earlier this year Denied Love, now Poisonous Love) I usually get slightly annoyed at how over hyped they are 😅

I haven't even finished Roller Coaster and that one was pretty good! If Denied Love had aired a month later I can almost guarantee I wouldn't have finished it 🤣
