No RBA warning that a CEO’s salary package should be no higher than, say, 4 times higher than their average employee’s wage?
The RBA is a complicit part of the conservative elite who feel entitled to tell wage earners continually that they must lower their expectations and wages.

The Bjelke-Petersen stated they were not aware of brothels operating illegally in Brisbane. A major brothel operated less than a hundred metres from the QLD National Party HQ in Spring Hill.

OS city planners avoid infrastructure changes that increase the existing “heat trap” problem of cities. Concreting over inner city green parks would horrify them. The IOC stadium criteria seeks a forecourt that can accommodate the stadium capacity ie. Vic Park 60/65,000. Massive concrete/heat.

Ted O’Brien, saying Ley will be our next PM, takes his cues from the Republican Party. Everything has to be over exaggerated, scarified, and to most Oz voters, outlandish and ridiculous. In the US, they need to use overblown language to scare voters out to vote. Nobody tell Ted it’s different here.

Heard a Briz woman present how she had encouraged book clubs to establish and focus on indigenous historians/memoirs/authors. She recommended an extensive list of books to these clubs over 20 yrs. A fair judge. She said if you only read one book in this area, read David Marr’s “Killing For Country.”

The NPC cancelled Chris Hedges, an Oz journo who has worked on the ground in Gaza, witnessed the horror, & highlights the wording that the Israeli Govt / their military use to smother & cover their murderous actions.

Worst? Extra demand pushes up expensive house prices, making them more expensive.
Outcome: new home buyers will lose out over the distance. ALP politicians can claim they are concerned & taking action. Pfft

Does anyone recall Howard/any LNP politician saying privatisation would involve shovelling out BILLIONS of taxpayers money PER YEAR to companies operating in the privatised sectors? Aged Care 2023/24: budget allocation was $36 Billion, $21 Billion of that to residential care operators. Since 1997?

Oz MSM seems to accept the historic numbers of journalist’s deaths in Gaza with cool calmness. It’s almost as if they are unconcerned about governments seeking to wipe out the right to report on certain issues. So MSM don’t care about free speech, just their audience, advertisers, shareholders.

The host moved on quickly to another commentator. “Low wages are a deliberate part of our economic architecture.” - ex LNP Finance Minister Cormann. Wages stagnated for 11 yrs under LNP.

It’s 1st October when the total fire ban in Southern & Central QLD took effect. Remote QLD had major towns hitting 40 and 41 celsius - just horrendous for this time of year. Un- newsworthy for MSM. It only encourages people to think about how climate change can affect them. We can’t have that.

Small modular reactors- SMR’s? The ones that the LNP initially included in their nuclear brochure … oops, policy? LNP relied on Nuscale, Idaho as their benchmark SMR developer. It folded after investors withdrew, but US Govt did retrieve the taxpayers $600 million invested. SMR’s - still a concept.

NSW LNP Police Minister David Elliott says he “would want” his children to be strip searched at a music festival. He has two sons, no daughters. He’s aware the controversy centres on police conducting 122 strip searches on young women since 2016, some as young as 12 & 13. Aware of poor results. Pfft
