Trump's illegal invasion of Venezuela is all about one thing: oil.
It’s always about the oil.
The invasion of Venezuela is not about democracy, national security, or an unavoidable threat.

The storms, the fires, the floods, and the heat are pounding an electric grid that was mostly built half a century ago, and the costs of patching it back together are being quietly folded into our monthly bills.

California students see Climate Superfund legislation as one fix to climate change — and walked out of school to fight for the policy.
Big Oil should help foot the bill for lost school time, students say
Worried about the impact of climate change, students are rallying around ‘climate superfund’ legislation that would put oil companies on the hook for disrupted learning and damage to school buildings.

Stats we'll keep repeating:

· Our economy has suffered $6.6 trillion in economic damages from climate-related disasters in the past 12 years
· That's a costlier event than the Great Depression
· Workers lost more than $1 trillion in wages because of wildfire smoke alone between 2020 and 2024
Ignoring a $7 Trillion Financial Disaster Won’t Make It Go Away
Climate change is already twice as painful economically as the Great Depression, and it’s only going to worsen.

Keep Oil and Gas Waste Out of New Mexico’s Rivers and Farms
Oil and gas companies generate more than 100 billion gallons of toxic oil and gas waste in New Mexico every year — laced with chemicals, PFAS, and radioactive material. New Mexico's Water Quality Control Commission must reject industry pressure and keep this waste far away from New Mexico’s farms and waterways. Add your name today to protect clean water and hold polluters accountable.
